In a move that won't really surprise too many people, Namco has given in to fan demand and will be offering Darth Vader and Yoda as downloadable content on their opposite consoles for Soul Calibur IV. Finally we can see the epic battle unfold with our own controllers!

These characters will be available on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace and Playstation Network apparently this week, well at least in America. They should only set you back 400 Microsoft Points for Xbox LIVE or $4.99USD on the PSN. I can only hope we see this on our console stores around the same time and price.

Whether or not you want these characters will be completely up to you. If you haven't tried out the extra character at a friends place then it might be worth the cash but if you are sick of the force powers then maybe you should pass. I wouldn't mind expanding the roster a little more but honestly who didn't see this coming when they left that "empty" box on the character selection screen. Hopefully we don't have to wait long for this one on both the PS3 and Xbox 360.
