Banjo Kazooie coming to Xbox Live Arcade
News has arrived that the original Banjo Kazooie title will be making its way over to the Xbox Live Arcade, in a bid to celebrate the upcoming release of Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts on the Xbox 360. In the UK, those who preorder Nuts and Bolts will receive a free download coupon for the Xbox Live Arcade title.

While it is unclear whether this pre-order incentive applies to Australian audiences, it may be worthwhile asking your local gaming emporium if they know anything about such an initiative. The original Banjo Kazooie will not be a direct copy of the Nintendo 64 version, with several enhancements for the Xbox Live Arcade planned.

Banjo Kazooie, which originally appeared on the Nintendo 64 in 1998 was a fairly successful title, but had a few features which were not fully implemented. One of these, called "Stop N' Swop" was planned to enable gamers to be able to take items found in Banjo Kazooie into the game's sequel, Banjo Tooie.

The "Stop N' Swop" feature will be fully realised for the Xbox Live Arcade version of the title, allowing players to unlock exclusive items in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts. The Xbox Live Arcade version of the original Banjo Kazooie will also feature achievements, Gamerscore opportunities, and a number of graphical enhancements.

The original Banjo Kazooie will be available on November the 26th for 1200 Microsoft points, and some time before hand for those who pre-order Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts. The newest Xbox 360 iteration of the title will release in Australia at some point in November.
