With the release last week of yet another update for Burnout Paradise last week (which introduced motorbikes, amongst other things), Criterion have just announced that Burnout Paradise will be available online through the Playstation Store (for US residents, at least), this Thursday.
This marks it as the newest addition to the few full games available on the Playstation Store which is distributed through both Blu-Ray media and online. Other titles distributed in this style include Gran Turismo 5: Prologue, and SIREN: Blood Curse. News has also filtered through regarding Criterion's intentions to add trophy support to the game in the very near future.
The Playstation Store distribution of Burnout Paradise will be available through the US Playstation Store for $US29.99, which mirrors retail pricing of the title in the United States. Those who purchase the title through the Playstation Store will also have access to all the updates Criterion have (and will) release for the game, which have added the following features:Criterion claim it "will be released imminently and [be] included for free". There is no word at this point as to whether or not Burnout Paradise will be available for download through the Australian Playstation Store.
