Disaster: Day of Crisis striking down the Wii

You may remember the news regarding Disaster: Day of Crisis which we rescued not too long ago. Whilst the title had on many occasions been reported as being vapor-ware, that fact that it had received a rating from our very own Classifications Board quenched the rumours of an apparent cancellation of the title.
While it has been classified here (recieving an M rating) there is still no word on a local release date. Meanwhile, the game is set for a release very soon in Japan. How soon? Just under two weeks!

On September the 25th, Disaster: Day of Crisis will place Japanese Wii owners into the shoes of Raymond Bryce, a former member of an elite rescue task force becomes the front line of defence against a terrorist group that has seized a nuclear weapon. This follows an "unprecedented wave of natural disasters" that has crippled the United States, with Disaster: Day of Crisis promising to be a "panic inducing survival game".
The terrorist group is led by two army colonels, who have taken advantage of the chaos sown by the series of natural disasters. In Disaster: Day of Crisis, the player will be charged with navigating their way through natural and man made disasters whilst fighting against the terrorist threat.

With the Japanese release date set for September 25th, and the European release date set for the 24th of October, one can only hope that Australian gamers will see this title at some point in the near future.
