Well as people spend this week creating their own worlds and life, in the real world I have been waiting to see what trailers have appeared this week to tempt my wallet to give up cash.

This week we launch off the ramps for some tricks, re-live our dreams of being in a band and going about conquering the world. We see if dodgeball is the solution to an internet battle, which may stir a crysis. Lastly we delve deep into the mines as it expands.

SKATE 2

While the image may be from last year's game, the trailer is definitely not. Skate made a lot of top scores last year and reinvented the skating series. I'm hoping to see more of the same from Skate 2, just bigger, harder, faster and better. I can't wait to see what they have done with this game after the success from the first.

Guitar Hero World Tour

I know I covered this game last week in this very spot but sometimes trailers come out and well, they need special mention. Once again we got hit with not one but many trailers for this game. However, none of those can pass up Billy Corgan! An idol to some, a god to many and now a character in Guitar Hero.

Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3

With the huge cast behind this (and Hell March playing in my head), I think I'm finally getting excited over this game. Sure I was before, but I was worried about the focus on ocean battles. Now I just want to play this game. This latest allies trailers shows off some more of the cut scene footage.

Pirates vs Ninjas Dodgeball

While the name is slightly misleading (there is robots and some.. "zombies" included as well) this game is all about dodgeball with some hilarious characters and moves. This trailer shows off some of the specials unique to each team.

Crysis: Warhead

There has been a surprising lack of promotion for this game. I mean the release date is a lot closer than anyone thinks, in fact it's next week! While I think this might fall into the more of the same category, fans of previous will be waiting for this game. While others might check it out. At least the trailer can sell it self.

The Lord of the Rings Online: Mines of Moria

Even in the movies Gimli did say 'Let them come. There is one dwarf yet in Moria who still draws breath', but I think there will be a few more dwarfs in those mines when this expansion kicks off. Expanding on Tolkien's world this game looks to keep some people in the LOTR online, even with some tough competition coming.

Our favourite trailers!
After been waiting for this game and getting the demo last week, I can safely say this has to be one of my favourite trailers. I saw it months ago and just hoped it would be everything I wanted to and it has been. This is a great example of when a trailer shows off a game exactly how it's meant to be, fun and exciting. It truly is an unofficial version of Sled Storm on quads!

End Credits

This week has been a little bit quieter than morning, but I'm hoping it will pick up when the world stops creating creatures. I was excited for the new Perimeter 2 trailer, however it was a little more than disappointing (4 minutes of basically the same thing). But apart from that there is a nice swag of new trailers for a couple of games that are looking good. Enjoy!
