Disaster: Day of Crisis: Survival for the Wii still alive
Way back during the E3 of 2006, Nintendo announced that Monolith Soft were developing a little title called Disaster: Day of Crisis for the Nintendo Wii. Any information regarding the title has proven itself extraordinarily scarce, with it having been stated on occasion that the title had been axed. This is not the case.

Disaster: Day of Crisis is a survival game for the Wii, in which a series of natural disasters have ravaged the United States. The player is charged with a simple task - survive. Recently, a pile of new information has been found, emitting a SOS signal - we've investigated, and have rescued a massive pile of screenshots regarding the title.

Labelled a "panic inducing survival game", in Disaster: Day of Crisis an "unprecedented wave of natural disasters has pummelled the United States". With confusion across the country, a rogue special forces group has seized a nuclear weapon. Ray, a former member of an elite rescue task force, decides to take a stand against the rogue group, in a ditch to save the country.

We can expect the following from Disaster: Day of Crisis:
* Cutting-edge physics and gripping visuals re-create the sheer terror of major catastrophes.

* Players race a car down a mountain to escape a roaring pyroclastic flow, dodge toppling buildings during a devastating earthquake and swim for their lives in a raging flood. No matter what happens, fight to survive.

Following an announcement by Monolith on May the 17th of this year that the title had its Japanese release target change from July 2008 to "TBA", things looked grim - until our very own Classifications Board classified the game with a M rating. No release date has been set at this time, with any information regarding the title still sparse. On the bright side the new screenshots landed not too long ago, which strengthen the fact that the game is far from dead.
