I was looking forward to this week with assignments out of the way, a TF2 update coming and meeting up with some forum goers this weekend. It should be pretty good. Then I wandered over to the file library and found some of the best trailers I've seen for awhile. This is a great collection this week and you definitely should come in and check them out!

Leading this empire of trailers is a story about some men and ships followed by more men and ships. After that there are chronicles and commandos to get keep it exciting. Finally we have a swarm bringing it home with a sack full of fun.

Empire: Total War

Thanks to Matt_K, I now have been craving to play to play a Total War game and just after watching this trailer I want it to be this one. Empire: Total War will be the first to include naval battles as part of the game and for awhile we have waiting to see what it would be like. Wait no longer! Here is the naval gameplay trailer and let me say if you like total war, this will make you want the game.

Sid Meier's Civilization IV: Colonization

If war isn't your thing, than colonization might just be up your alley. Expanding from Sid Meier's previous title, Colonization is looking to set plays up to conquer the new world. It's bringing the new style to a popular older game (by the name Colonization *shock horror*). Trailer looks good and based around Civ IV it should be a blast.

Valkyria Chronicles

The more I see of this game, the more I want it. With such unique art styles and what looks to be impressive game play, I honestly just can't wait to give it a go. I think Sega have really hit a new mark on this one and I look forward to hopefully seeing some more games in this series.

Bionic Commando

Since seeing a trailer for this game at E3 my jaw dropped to the ground and for those 2 minutes of the trailer I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. This trailer shows the 'evolution' of Nathan Spencer (the hero in Bionic Commando) to his next adventure, and while the other trailer showed more (if you liked this one, go watch it now!) this one shows off where it all began.

The Swarm

I really don't know too much about this game, but it looks interesting. With aliens taken over most of the earth, it seems there is a resistance standing up against them. However you have the ability to combine your DNA with theirs and become a hybrid, changing the game play completely! I think I'm going to have to keep an eye on this one as it does look something different. Also is that Nathan Explosion in the image?

I haven't talked about LittleBigPlanet for awhile and well.. It's awesome I want it. There isn't much more that really needs to be said about it. This trailer just shows off more of the fantastic game play and ideas coming out from their heads. I honestly can't wait to see what the community are able to make when this game gets fully released. I am also adding a +1 that SackBoy becomes Sonys new face.

End Credits

While we are all looking to escape that addictive event on the TV screens, there actually wasn't that many trailers unleashed this week. Probably because there are some other games distracting people across the world right now. But this week was about QUALITY not quantity, and it was full of quality. We even got our first look at the new Godfather game (there is an Age Checker so be sure you remember your birthday). That is definitely one trailer you should check out (if you're old enough!). Also the Bionic Commando Rearmed trailer has some awesome music. So definitely give it a watch. Enjoy!
