Good Game - Season 4, Ep 18 Preview

The ABC's gaming show Good Game is shown on Monday nights @ 9pm on ABC2 with a repeat on ABC1 on Friday nights after triple j TV. As if that wasn't enough, there's always the downloadable vodcast on the website, too!

Braid, Beijing 2008, Madden NFL 08 (from EA Sports)
Well the world has caught Olympic fever, and once again we're all proud to be a part of this little nation of sportspeople that can hold their own against countries that have 10 times the population.
So naturally, we review the official Beijing 2008 game in this episode, and also take the time to examine the history of olympic games video games, in all their button-mashing glory.
A similar underdog story is that of Jonathan Blow, an outspoken game design academic who's spent the last 5 years putting his money where his mouth is. The result is Braid, a seemingly simple platformer that gives you power over time, and sees a review on this week's GG.
Peter Moore is the new head of EA Sports, though most people know him for his tattoos from his days at Xbox 360. We have a chat with Peter Moore about EA's new strategy for its sports titles as well as how it felt to be the man who oversaw the death of the Sega Dreamcast.
