As we look forward beyond that massive event, we are getting some exciting trailers coming in from Comic-Con. The comic book geek inside of me was out in force this week, so expect a few comic heroes to pop up in trailers this week.

As for the rest? Well even with no master in sight, these wars still rage on. Is it a battle for one's soul? or for a whole universe? Either way the fight isn't over as it extends into the shadows. While there is some heroes sporting 70s hair others just rely on the powers of the gods to win their fights.

Halo Wars

Even with no Master Chief in sight, Halo Wars is still bringing us back to fight the covenant, this time in RTS form! While an RTS on a console does generate some mixed feelings, the trailer does look very nice.

Soulcalibur IV

I want it, I want it, I want it! It's ever so close to the release and well... I want it. If you have been unsure about this game (I can't imagine why), this video shows off the features which include the new critical finish and character customization to sway your vote to the dark side. I still have to say they have some amazing trailers in the last months; I love how all the characters get a word to describe them. (PS: I want it)

Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe

I've been watching this title pretty closely (the comic book geek in me demands it) however it is starting to annoy me more than anything. This latest trailer showing off some of the fights and moves from various characters feels, a little, slow and repetitive. I think if anything this trailer has made me want to go play Marvel vs Capcom 2. However that part of me will keep an eye on it until I see a full copy.

Spider-man: Web of Shadows

While being forced into watching this trailer as well (he is a strong part of me), I think I'm a little bit excited about this next Spider-man game. While the others haven't been fantastic, they haven't been horrible either. If you're a Marvel fan, you will need to see this trailer. However I don't like the voice of Peter Parker.

Afro Samurai

Coming after the successful anime, Afro Samurai is back! Some big name stars lend their voices for this game that is looking pretty good. I love the art and visuals for this game and can't wait to get my samurai action on, afro style.

Demigod

This trailer is epic of mythical proportions. Choose a Demigod and right to beat your opponents. Sounds easy? Well not as long as there are other Demigods in your way. Progress and collect items and experience and then maybe you will stand a chance. Demigod has just hit my watch list and this trailer caused it.

End Credits

While I sit here and wait until I can go get my precious game, I found a few trailers that really stood out (more than normal). The Last Guy looks to be an interesting PSN title, one of those 'new arcade style puzzle game things' (yes, it's a real genre) and Darkness Within: The Dark Lineage, not the most inspired title, but one of the creepiest trailers I've seen (and yes, he walks really slow).
