Australian Weekly Video Game Charts - Week Ending 15/06/08
The Australian buying public has gone topsy-turvy, with only two platforms having the same top-sellers as last week. The rest of the charts are an absolute mess, and looking at these lists today you will notice a few glaring omissions. GTA IV has slipped from the top spot on both consoles. There is no Halo 3. There is no World of Warcraft anywhere.

The games that are on top do make a sort of sense, with Australian gamers flocking in droves to get the Snake's latest solid adventures on PS3, the PC charts are still looking pretty simulated, Xbox 360 is all ninja-fied, PS2 and PSP gamers are still visiting a blocky archaeologist, and the DS is getting a bit sketch-happy.

This is the first time since I've been paying attention to the charts (every week for years, now!) that I can remember there not being any mention of the world's best-selling MMORPG in the top ten PC games. Is this a sign of the apocalypse?
