Good news for Aussie Microsoft and RPG fans - should such creatures exist - as SquareEnix do the right thing by us and announce PAL territory (that's us, along with Europe, NZ and a few miscellaneous others, by the way) release dates for its forthcoming Xbox 360 line up. Three adventurous titles are due this or next year, and with this a whole bunch of new screens have been released, too.

First in our hot little hands is the schmexy looking Infinite Undiscovery, due out across PAL territories on the 5th of September, just days after the U.S. release on September 2nd and slightly ahead of the Japanese release on the 11th. Tantalise your eyeballs with a few new screenshots, and refresh your memory by checking out our previous story. Rapture!

No specific date is set for The Last Remnant but we are assured that we can expect it in "winter" - our summer, and hopefully in time for Christmas. The Last Remnant will utilise the Unreal Engine, and SquareEnix are pretty chuffed with it, not only because it allows the creation of a realtime fantasy environment, but also because it allows for simultaneous cross-platform development; Apparently PS3 owners can expect to see this one, too. Happily, I just may have some new screens for this one...

Long development periods and communicative creators have trained us all to endure distant future release announcements, but while its the furthest off of the three, there's not that long to wait for Star Ocean: The Last Hope. We can expect this beauty "in 2009"; I'm guessing in the second half, since apart from confirmation of the title, there's very little official info on this one floating about. Still, the quality of the series' previous titles should guarantee a good time. And, oh my goodness - new screens!
