They say ask and you shall receive and it seems someone was listening to me. Yesterday I said I'll be keeping an eye out for gameplay videos for EA's Skate It and I wake up today to find both the Wii and DS movies on how the controls will work.

However they don't show the use of the balance board, crossing my fingers someone listens to me today, but it does show how the Wii-mote and stylus will be used to do tricks.

Although they only show how the controls work it is actually pretty close to what I was imagining. So for starters here is the Wii Control Trailer.


On the other side of the fence is the stylus in action on the DS controls trailer.


Since these are really first looks at the controls there isn't much you can really say, but they have continued to interest me. In fact I think I'm now more interested in the DS version. The Wii controls look like they might be a bit confusing and my only worry is when you will want to do a kickflip, it might end up doing a 360 flip. Only time will tell and one thing is for sure, Skate It has my interest.
