By Junglist - Mon Feb 25, 2008 4:23pm
The ABC's gaming show Good Game has moved to a new timeslot for 2008, we're now Monday nights @ 9pm on ABC2 with a repeat on ABC1 on Friday nights after triple j TV.
As promised in last week's show, tonight's Good Game focuses on some of the smaller, downloadable titles out there on various digital distribution platforms.
Here's some of what you can expect:

Pirates of the Burning Sea, Omega 5, Pac-Man C.E.
Russel Williams - The CEO of Flying Lab Software joins us to talk about his forthcoming MMO, Pirates of the Burning Sea. Featuring Ship-to-Ship combat, an unprecedented crafting system and a story-driven, grindless questing structure, this is definitely a new breed of MMO.
Omega 5 - A superwoman shamelessly clad in lingerie flying through the air taking out armies of giant robots? I am so there.
Pac-Man C.E. - The Championship Edition of the famous arcade classic, brought to you by the man behind the original.
Everyday Shooter - A top-down shooter in the same vein as Geometry Wars, with a twist - every aspect of gameplay effects the music, creating a dynamic guitar soundtrack.
Patapon - From the makers of Loco Roco, this new PSP title employs the same style with completely new gameplay. Command an army of little dots to victory through the power of percussion, using the 4 PSP buttons as drums for your battle rhythms.
Audiosurf - Another one combining music with gameplay, Audiosurf can create a racetrack for you to ride on out of your own tunes - complete with obstacles in time with your own kickdrums, symbals and everything.

Everyday Shooter, Patapon, Audiosurf
How We Got Connected - A history of how we gamers came to play online. From the very first modem to the latest in cross-realm battlegrounds.
All that plus Richard Farkas has a monster trainer on Gamer Tonight, delving into the psyche of Pokecrazies. Don't forget you can download Good Game at any time on www.abc.net.au/goodgame - visit our forums if you have any feedback or ideas for the show!
Good Game airs Monday nights @ 9pm on ABC2, and late Friday nights after jjj TV on ABC.
Enjoy the show!
