Project Origin is Monolith's fear-some new title, with a title chosen by you guys through a vote in the middle of last year. It's due out in about six months for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, and we've just received a HUGE PILE of new screenshots and images of everybody's favourite scary girl, Alma.
Get ready for some over-the-top effects combined with frighteningly intelligent enemies as you race to save the city of Auburn (well, what's left of it), from Alma's ghostly rage in this title, set just before the ending of F.E.A.R..

To set the scene: A Special Forces squad on a routine mission observes the city of Auburn shocked by a massive, supernatural explosion. Alma, a little girl with a thirst for revenge coupled with an immense power, has unleashed her wrath on the city, throwing it into chaos. The squad now must combat the supernatural and enemy forces, while also trying to find a way to stop Alma and discover the source of the mysterious forces they're dealing with - before it's too late.

To clarify - technically, this is a follow up to 2005's F.E.A.R., but due to a shift in publishers, a new name was required. Thus - Project Origin, a new title from Monolith, will be released later this year by Warner Bros Interactive for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. In the meantime, we've got heaps of new screenshots in our File Library, why don't you take a look?
