Exhibition Director, Noel Gray:
"All of our big name exhibitors are using eGames as the place to launch their new titles or showcase those not yet released to the market. Gamers are able to either use a pre-created character or else invent their own personalised version of Commander Shepard of the SS Normandy, who will then jump straight into the centre of a massive science-fiction story. Users can choose their own squad-mates, abilities, skills and weapons, as well as customising vehicles, armour and appearance. Commander Shepard will lead an elite squad across a galaxy in turmoil, rushing to quell the return of a merciless, ruthless enemy.

The expo will showcase live demonstrations onstage of a number of new and never-before-seen games, as well as keynote presentations from industry leaders, all the latest games news and views offered by various industry panels - and enjoy a number of other 'at show' activities, all in the one place.
It really is a who's who of the games industry, with various major companies showing off their wares - Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, Atari, Activision Auran Games, Madman Entertainment, Yamaha, Scorptec, Gamerz Bunker, and AFA among the list.
With a strong focus on careers in the game development and "new media" industries, representatives from Box Hill Tafe, the Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE), QANTM College, Deakin University, Ballarat University, Monash University and Swinburne University will all be in attendance. This is, therefore, an amazing opportunity for students and parents to meet with educators and developers working in one of Australia's fastest growing industries. Sessions for students will also be held over the weekend.
If you want to go - opening hours are Friday 16 November, 12pm to 6pm, Saturday 17 November, 10am to 6pm and Sunday 18 November, 10am to 5pm, and you never know who you might run into.
