I was reading the other day that overseas consumers found the Australian gaming market quite amusing. In most other territories, a highly-anticipated game (such as, oh,
Halo 3) is #1 in the charts for one week, as everyone rushes out to buy it. In Australia, however, it hangs around the top order for a while, demonstrating Aussies' laidback attitude. "Meh, I'll buy it next week."
That said, while Master Chief still rules the 360, he's been knocked from the overall top spot by a little bandicoot with some big enemies. PC gamers are heading to a horrific Britain, Wii are visiting the carnival while PS2 are still playing soccer, and the DS crowd are challenging their minds some more.
