But here's the kicker, you can now play against people on different consoles, too! So that mate of yours bragging about how good he is, but can't play you because your controller's 'too weird' can now show off his stuff... or lack of.
Online Team Play will be automatically downloaded when an Xbox 360 or PS3 are connected online. It allows players from anywhere in the world to join in and have a 5v5 match with AI support. Players have the option to stick to just one single character or can opt to roam around various players, or teams can use both.
This should be interesting for the competitive side of FIFA 08 and bring in more of a challenging game play. Unfortunately this feature is only available to the PS3 and Xbox 360. But those with it, go, enjoy team sports... indoors.
