Hellgate: London - due to arrive November 1st, Down Under

We're lucky we don't really celebrate Halloween in Australia - otherwise we might be disappointed that we don't get Hellgate: London (an appropriately spooky game) until the day after.
That's right, one of the most anticipated hack / slash / shooter games released this year is set to arrive in Australia on November 1st - just one day after the North American release (and a day before Europe!).
The game, which marks "the next leap" in action RPGs combines the addictive and complex gameplay of traditional role-players with the visceral action commonly associated with FPS.
If all these terms get confusing... here, have a Co-Op Trailer, to show off some gameplay:

Bill Roper, CEO of developer, Flagship Studios:
Dynamically generated levels, items, enemies and events make Hellgate: London infinitely replayable as no two games will be the same. Create a heroic character and complete quests while battling uncountable demons to progress through a rich, story-driven campaign. The skill and spell system is both robust and flexible, and the variety of randomly generated equipment, as well as highly customisable appearances allow each player to create a truly unique hero.
Either go on a solo quest - or take your challenges online, and team up with friends to battle for London in a client-server secure environment, for free! (...if you want a bit more, you can pay an optional subscription service that will unlock extra content - quests, classes, demons, items... but payment is not required to simply play.)

We'll have more information for you over the coming months - and if we don't, Hellgate: London itself will be here soon, don't stress!

"We wanted to hit the sweet-spot for release in terms of the development schedule and delivering the highest-quality game to our players. Halloween was the perfect fit as it ensures that Hellgate: London will have an appropriate amount of beta testing, while also being an incredibly fun time to unleash the game."
