E3: Hellgate: London Screens, Trailer and Fact Sheet

One of the most anticipated game releases for this year would have to be Hellgate: London. A good portion of the team who were responsible for Diablo and Diablo 2 are behind this game. They left Blizzard and have created their own company Flagship Studios in order to bring Hellgate: London to the gaming public. We have a trailer straight from E3 for you and some new screens as well.

Hellgate: London will feature first person and third person combat. The team at Flagship Studios are incorporating customizable melee and projectile weapons. While the game may have the feel of a FPS the combat in the game is stats based. This will be a unique development in the hack and slash RPG gaming world. The game makers are promising to make levels which are randomly generatated and gameplay which incorporates large scale co-op gameplay.

The game is set in a post-apocalyptic London. Where demons and demon spawn have overrun the city. Only three factions have managed to survive. The Templar, the Cabalists, and the Hunters. The Templar arise from the secret society the Knights of the Templar. They use futuristic weapons with heavy armour and artifacts. The Cabalists use magic or the dark arts in combat. Hunters are ex-military operatives who used advanced weapons which blend the latest science and technology.

Features include:
· The RPG Authority – Flagship Studios was founded by the core creators of Diablo, one of the biggest PC gaming franchises in history– they are the first, last and only voice in the world of action RPGs.
