Internet Censors visit Chinese Warcraft Skeletons

When you think of China, you may well think of social and political harmony ...even if that harmony is imposed by a higher force and not something naturally occurring. Such is the case in a recent development affecting World of Warcraft.
Apparently, the undead skeletons ingame are seen to be offensive - "naked", some might say - and Chinese players are understandably upset after their characters were given some fashionable flesh to dance around in. This is, of course, in accordance to a secret government ban on bare bones.
Local company The9, which runs WoW in China, has edited the Scourge race to remove any pesky bones protruding through flesh - and have apparently changed ingame corpses to tombs, instead.
The race had been deemed "too scary" - but even scarier is the fact the crackdown highlights just how much internet control and censorship is imposed in China by the ruling Communist party.
