Microsoft Bringing E3 Home for Xbox 360 Owners

Remember the days gone by with E3 of yesteryear when you had to wait months to get high definition downloads of E3 content? Generally, you could download shaky handicam footage of the E3 releases but the sound was poor, you could see people's heads bobbing up and down in front of the camera and you really wondered why you even bothered to download it in the first place. E3 is not like that anymore. All of the developers seem to have recognized that there is massive gamer demand for high quality E3 footage straight from the event. Meaning you don't have to wait months to get the official, high quality version. Microsoft have even recognized that this is so important to gamers they have marketed a campaign around it to appease everyone. They have called it, "Bringing E3 home" to Xbox 360 owners around the globe.
As important game footage is shown at E3 you will be able to download it via Xbox Live. Bit of a bonus really. So between July 10th and July 13th the "Bringing it home" service will allow Xbox 360 owners to download content directly from the show. This will include: game trailers, themes, gamer pictures and demos. Once again it looks like Microsoft have actually had a good think about providing a quality service to gamers ... quite amazing really.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare on the left. Assassin's Creed in the centre. BioShock on the right.
Games which will have content directly from E3 include:

On the left is Need for Speed: ProStreet. Project Gotham Racing 4 is in the centre. Burnout Paradise is on the right.
There are definitely a few games on that list which I would like to see demos for. Gamers will be able to experience some of the thrill of E3 without actually leaving their living room. Now, if they could just do something which would put a booth babe in my living room ... that would be an achievement.
