Battlefield 3 Performance Upgrades Incoming

DICE and EA are racing to address the quibbles and bugs that have manifested in the Battlefield 3 experience, and have moved to assure customers that all the kinks in the fabulous-looking new shooter are currently being ironed out.

Specifically, seven key areas have been targeted for improvement: Quick Match functionality, staying in squads once you join them, the availability of Hardcore servers, lag & rubber banding, screwy default region settings, stability, and Origin installation and authentication issues.

EA has also announced that the Physical Warfare Pack will soon be available to all BF3 owners; though for now, this in-game weapon bundle remains a special privilege for those who pre-ordered via EA's Origin digital download service.
All of our players will be happy to know that Physical Warfare Pack will be available to everyone in the future!  The Physical Warfare Pack contains the Type 88 LMG, DAO-12 Shotgun, SKS Sniper Rifle flash suppressor, and flechette ammunition for the DAO-12 Shotgun.
