Tony Hawk games are huge across all formats. Throughout the course of the franchise's life it has seen a number of revisions from the original format. Tony Hawk's Proving Ground will be the new release in this franchise and will appear on DS, PS2, PS3, Wii, and the Xbox 360. Tony Hawk's Proving Ground will offer players the greatest amount of choice in a Tony Hawk game. Based on the decisions you make in the game will determine how the story plays out for you. Hopefully this will offer gamers great diversity and replayability for the game. Of course, you are able to create your own skater as you go on a journey throughout the skating proving grounds of Philadelphia, Baltimore through to Washington DC. Joel Jewett, president of Neversoft, said,

The game will incorporate the ability to go seamlessly from single player to online multiplayer. The skating engine has been giving a complete overhaul creating an all new skating mechanic. There will be an integrated video editor which will allow players the ability to create their own skate videos and then share them.

Tony Hawk's Proving Ground is set to be released later this year.
