Apparently, there was a prophecy which has been told through the ages from father to son about a messiah surrounded in darkness. That this saviour would infact be created on the PC gaming platform and then, later, be resurected on the Xbox 360. However, when he was resurrected it was told that he would somehow be shinier than before. And it seems that this prophecy is about to come true.

The popular hack-and-slash FPS game Dark Messiah of Might and Magic has been officially announced for the Xbox 360, however, the future of the game's worldwide release is still uncertain. The game will officially be called Dark Messiah of Might and Magic: Elements. Dark Messiah was released on PC last year to some fairly good reviews. It hasn't quite captured some of the long term appeal with multiplayer that the developers would have liked.

The game will definitely be released in Europe. Ubisoft were unable to confirm whether the console version would be released in the US or not. This news should be OK for Australia considering we use the PAL standard which is the same as the UK. Hopefully we should see the Source powered Dark Messiah available here.

It will be good test of the Source engine on the Xbox 360. The console may be better suited to making this game a bit more popular than it was on PC. Hopefully, they will have ironed out some of the bugs before releasing it to the gaming public. The game will have the usual "extras" expected with such a port.
