Friday Roundup! (4/05/2007)
Looks like another minimal week on the demo front, sorry kids... my advice is to just play Defcon instead. Or maybe a nice game of chess. Or maybe you could just catch up on some tv, instead.

...that said, the Fallout 3 Van Buren Tech Demo is really quite worth checking out, if you're into 2003 nostalgia...

We've also got samles of PeaceMaker, Real E$tate Empire, Sonoro TV, and The Hell in Vietnam.

Enjoy!
Fallout 3 - Van Buren Tech Demo (03/05/2007)

Prepare for the future with the third in the classic, post-apocalyptic franchise. Now in the hands of Bethesda Softworks (and in the works for several years of dedicated production), this third Fallout finally brings players back to the world of chaos originally produced by the legendary Black Isle Studios.
(Van Buren was the codename given to Fallout 3, a game that was being developed by Black Isle Studios before Interplay, the parent company of Black Isle, laid off the PC development team on December 8, 2003. Van Buren was set to carry on the Fallout series, following Fallout 2, prior to being cancelled.)
PeaceMaker Full Demo - Windows / Mac - Tutorial Demo - Windows / Mac (30/04/2007)

PeaceMaker challenges you to succeed as a leader where others have failed. Experience the joy of bringing peace to the Middle East or the agony of plunging the region into disaster. PeaceMaker will test your skills, assumptions and prior knowledge. Play it and you will never read the news the same way again.
Real E$tate Empire v1.81 Demo (01/05/2007)

Find out if you have what it takes to be a real estate mogul in Real E$tate Empire - the exciting new game about buying, maintaining and selling real estate!
Players will work themselves up through the market by buying houses in the low end of the market, fixing them up and selling them. As the game progresses players will figure out if they are better served shopping for bargains, building a balanced portfolio of homes or concentrating on a specific market segment.
Sonoro TV Demo (28/04/2007)

Sonoro TV is a PC game that mixes platforms and strategy with a completely new concept of game play and -control. The game is played by drawing lines that will guide little musical characters to the exit of each level.
The main characters of the game are Jin and Nina, guests on a TV game-show called "Sonoro TV". To win the grand prize they will have to complete 30 missions against the evil DJ Sonoro.
The Hell in Vietnam English Demo (28/04/2007)

During our training in Recondo, we were instructed that having found ourselves at gun point, seemingly with no chances of survival, we should smile at our foe. Surprised by such behaviour, he would hesitate for a fraction of a second. This unbelievably short period of time meant the fine line between death and life. It gave way for other arguments and we had full cartridges of them. We would kill hundreds of enemies this way, leaving behind dead bodies, with the eyes telling the story of surprise and our smiling faces.
By no means was it an ordinary war. Our foe was faceless, bereft of identity. The whole Vietnam was our enemy. Its climate, terrain, mud, jungle, mosquitoes and short, weird inhabitants, armed with Chinese weapons and unreal ideals.
