• Mini-Sudoku: easier 6x6 grids.

• Sudoku-X: 9x9 grids in which the diagonals must also be filled with all numbers from 1 to 9.

• Jigsaw Sudoku: 9x9 grids with uncommon box shapes.

• Kakuro.
