| Description | Announced in November of 2004 (and finally announced officially at E3 2005 by Hideo Kojima). The title is a next-generation adventure set in the aftermath of MGS2: Sons of Liberty. Kojima is in charge of as game design, production, and direction (along with additional director Shuyo Murata), with Ken-Ichiro Imaizumi producing the title and Yoji Shinkawa handling character design. The concept behind the project is "No place to hide", and the new edition of the series will force Solid Snake into unexpected circumstances in an all-new storyline that breaks away in some ways from the previous MGS franchise entries.
