Have you been sitting up their in your coop, cooing all lonely-like? Are you looking for some silken, dove-like pigeons to practice your moves on? Well never fear, Hatoful Boyfriend is here.
Or, I should say, will be here. August 22 specifically: that’s when the PC, Mac and Linux ports of Hatoful Boyfriend will become available on Steam.
If you haven’t run away screaming, closed the browser mutting “what on Earth did I just read” or begun headbutting the sharpest corner of your table, let me explain! You play as the only human – yes, human – attending the St. Pigeonations school for birds, where your character will attend classes, graphic novel-style, while you attempt to woo the heart of one of eight luscious pigeons.
I don’t know why anyone would need this simulator though. Pigeons often hassle and crap all over my things for free. If anything, I need a pigeon repellent simulator, like a take on Deer Hunter that’s sponsored by Mortein.
Anyway, the game will cost around US$10, although you can get a 10% discount if you preorder. And if you’re mentally deranged, you can buy the Collector’s Edition for US$15, which comes with the soundtrack, an original comic, exclusive wallpapers of Oko-san – that’s a bird – and the St. Pigeonations Yearbook.
Perhaps we should start a petition to force our dear leader to play this game. What do you say?
