Variable State, the indie dev studio formed by ex-Rockstar and Rare devs Terry Kenny and Jonathan Burroughs, has announced its upcoming game Virginia.

“Virginia is an interactive drama set in the titular US state in the early 1990s. It charts the story of a recently graduated FBI agent and her partner as they seek to uncover the mystery surrounding the disappearance of a young boy.”

If you’re a fan of the game’s inspirations—Twin Peaks, X-Files, The Outer Limits, etc.—then you might want to keep a close eye on this one.

Twin Peaks, X-Files, The Outer Limits

Not a massive fan of the art style, but I sure as hell wont let that detract me from the promise of a great game!

Who else read that as Vagina?
