Escape Dead Island is a bizarre stealth-action zombie game set on Dead Island

Escape Dead Island

What was originally just a simple zombie-smashing game has now become a sprawling franchise, with the sequel announced, the Dead Island MOBA launching and now a new stylised third-person action game thingy coming out called Escape Dead Island.

This one stars “rich boy” Cliff Calo, who takes his dad’s yacht to Dead Island to film a documentary about the zombos. BUT WAIT — things go horribly wrong. Bet you didn’t see that coming, huh? Anyway Cliff wakes up in a hallucination (OR IS IT??) and battles zombies and generally freaks out.

EDI, as I’ve just decided to call it, is being put together by FatShark, who most recently did War of the Vikings, which has a similar crossover in that bodies get hit with weapons but probably not much else. Here’s a link to the official site — take a look at the trailer below and let us know what you think.

EDI – great name. You could just call it Eddy.

Oh nice.
Seems to be alot of people who don’t like the Dead Island games, I on the other hand can’t wait for Dead Island 2, and Dying Light, and Hellraid.. and now I can go ahead and add this to the wishlist. :D
(Didn’t care much for that top-down one though, probably due to the fact that I hate “Moba” games in general)
