Splinter Cell: Blacklist

The Steam Summer Sale is more than half over now, judging by the map of the ever-confusing Summer Adventure. Starting today, even more people have the opportunity to win free games by… ok, I’ll admit it, I have no freaking idea how those points are scored. Regardless, if you’re looking for kick ass savings, check out the Steam Storefront:

  • Murdered: Soul Suspect – 33% off at $33.49 USD
  • Brothers – A Tale of Two Sons – 80% off at $2.99 USD
  • Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition – 66% off at $6.79 USD
  • Blackguards – 66% off at $13.59 USD
  • Age of Wonders III – 50% off at $19.99 USD
  • Torchlight II – 75% off at $4.99 USD
  • Metro: Last Light Complete Edition – 66% off at $6.79 USD
  • Splinter Cell Blacklist – 75% off at $9.98 USD
  • Call of Duty: Ghosts – 50% off at $29.99 USD

Naturally the flash sales still continue to offer random goodies every eight hours – the current deals are:

  • Star Wars Battlefront 2 – 66% off at $3.39 USD
  • Call of Juarez: Gunslinger – 75% off at $4.48 USD
  • Killing Floor – 75% off at $4.99 USD
  • Serious Sam The Complete Pack – 85% off at $14.99 USD

And the current community’s choice selection just changed, so the four games available for the next eight hours are:

  • Rayman Legends – 75% off at $8.73 USD
  • World of Goo – 90% off at $0.99 USD
  • Bastion – 85% off at $2.24 USD
  • Awesomenauts – 90% off at $0.99 USD

Brothers – A Tale of Two Sons is taking first place in the Top Sellers list at the moment, followed by Metro: Last Light and Fallout: New Vegas – all of which are no doubt benefiting from being crazy cheap. And you can of course still take advantage of yesterday’s big deals, so if you still haven’t nabbed Dark Souls or Saints Row 4, now is a good time!

To anyone out there that doesn’t own Brothers – A Tale of Two Sons, you owe it to yourself to get this absolute gem of a game. It plays amazingly well in 3D too, if you have a TV or monitor to support that.

mrthumpy,

Picked it up for cheaper ($2.49) during an Amazon sale last year, yeah.. I dunno, I quit playing at around the halfway point.
I think much like things such as Bastion – it was perhaps talked up a little too much and I went in expecting more than it delivered. Perhaps I’ll get back around to finishing it someday.
