Somebody is making a Jurassic Park mod for ArmA 3 and it looks sweet

A common problem with video games these days is that they don’t have enough dinosaurs in them, and ArmA 3 definitely suffers from the same issue.

Now, thanks to a modder by the name of McRuppertle, that problem may be nearly solved. Check out the sweet video for Jurassic Arma below and join me in imagining how sweet this will be.

Taking bets now on how long it’ll be before people demand a stand alone release then complain when the alpha version of that standalone isn’t a complete game.

It definitely looks interesting, not sure how it will play out.
Probably as some sort of TvT survivor style, or even a last the hour game mode.

On a side note, more people need to crank the ‘Deadzone’ setting when they are in videos, it makes the character movement much more fluid and ‘real’

Lol I couldn’t stop laughing at all the microsoft sam-esque voice overs. Will BI ever get voice work done properly..?

notthatdoug,

6 months tops for people to say “this needs to be a full game” 12 for an “alpha” 12 for people to start crying about the rushed alpha that they all asked for.

Completely agree, looks like it could be fun.

Nah they’ll skate by, I give it about 2 weeks until Bohemia steal their dinosaur AI/pathing to use in DayZ.

They all died. How depressing

The velociraptors were better animated than the people!

BTW, this isn’t a new idea. Modders have been making Jurassic Park mods for FPSes for years.

you mean “complain when the stand-alone doesn’t even have 1/3rd of the features of the mod and is twice as buggy” ….right?

and no 1000 different coloured motorcycle helmets aren’t a feature.
