Peggle is now free on Origin, because Peggle

Peggle

Do you like Peggle? You can now get it free on Origin as part of Origin’s “Give Away A Free Game” program, also known as their “On The House” program. Learn more here.

Previously EA has given away Dead Space 3 and Battlefield 3 for free, so I wouldn’t exactly describe this as being in the same AAA tier, but it’s still nice to have. Who doesn’t like free games?

*deafening silence*

Good.

Peggle, wooo! Haven’t played that for a while, at least since the last promo release version. (I think it was the Portal 2 Peggle or something like that)

yay peggle

So now it’s free, they wouldn’t mind if I pirated it and ignored origin?

hooray for peggle

Already bought it twice (once on retail disc and then again on Steam).

Plants vs Zombies was also free recently, so there’s precedent for a Popcap game to be featured.

Dead Space 3 was free? :P
