ArmA 3 Karts

Thanks to the good-humouredness of ArmA 3 players, Bohemia Interactive has been able to donate the equivalent of $50,000 to the Czech Red Cross.

As you may remember, Bohemia recently began selling karting DLC for the military sim, a concept based on an April Fool’s joke.

“Alongside helping us to evaluate Arma 3′s new approach to DLC, with the backing of our community, Arma 3 Karts has managed to raise money for a great cause”, creative director Jay Crowe said in a statement.

“A big thanks to our players, both for their support and their valuable feedback, which we’ll use to refine our implementation. Overall, we’re positive about the preliminary results and responses, which seems to benefit Arma 3 players and help sustain Arma 3 development.”

You can still pick up the karts DLC, with a proportion of proceeds earmarked for charity.
