NVIDIA offers details on Watch Dogs support, GPU Analyser program

Watch Dogs

Wondering whether your rig will be able to run Watch Dogs when it comes out later this month? NVIDIA are now offering a tool to analyse your machine and tell you whether or not you’ll need upgrading to take advantage of the HBAO+ and TXAA they’ve partnered with Ubisoft to cram in there.

You can find that tool here. In the meantime, let’s take a look at that sweet PC graphics demo video again.

bah i never trust that thing, sure i have all top end gear, but i also have 1440 res monitor and when you star turning everything on like TXAA and tessalation and physx , it will start to chug

It’s all very reminiscent of BF3 when they were saying you needed a GTX580 (or two) to max out everything and have it running smoothly. And then it turned out you didn’t need nearly that much power to have a very, very good looking game. I expect Watch Dogs will be a similar story.

Since i don’t own either of the new consoles i hope this shows that the PC version of this game wont be a rubbish port. Also i think a theme we might see over the next 10 years is all multi-platform games will run fine on any GONers PC even at a higher resolutions (within reason)

I’m still running 2x GTX480′s. Hoping they can tackle it easily.

Should do a story on the brilliant DLC they’ve been working on instead of the main game.

Either Nvidia are trying to sell their 700 series cards, or this game uses the updated features within the newer cards.

Aside from the updates features, how the heck is a GTX 760 an upgrade from a GTX 670? The 670 benchmarks slightly higher — but they’re essentially at the same level. Surely an overclocked 670 would be the way to go?

‘Your ATI Card is paltry at best, in order to play this game with MINDBLOWING visuals and ORGASMIC sound we recommend you buy the GTX XXX SUPER HAPPY FUN TIME EDITION RRP, $10,000,000us’

I already know my MAD card is crap, but getting a green card isn’t gonna fix it :D

Now where’s that R9 290 offer I had lying about…

LOL NVIDIA

Your PC’s AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series CrossFire (2) meets the game’s minimum specification, but is below the game’s recommended specification

The recommended specification to enjoy Watch_Dogs™ is GeForce GTX 560 ti or higher. Check below to see some upgrade options.
