It’s difficult to describe the efforts revealed by TheVoxelBox and his fellow Minecraft fans as anything but staggering. Their powers combined have helped recreate the entirety of Bioshock: Infinite‘s floating paradise from a bygone era, Colombia. That’s the aim of the project, anyway.

Nevertheless, the progress shots look nothing short of outstanding. It’s beautiful, even without the photorealism or at least the stylised attractiveness and textured detail created within the Unreal Engine. I’ve embedded a couple of screenshots below for your viewing pleasure, but really, check the entire album out on imgur. It’s stellar.

“8-bit glory”?

That’s awesome and impressive.
