Please note that this offer has now expired!

Need more sci-fi in your life outside of gaming? Well, Internode just happen to be offering a sweet new deal where you can get three months of Fetch TV’s Entertainment Plus package, when you sign up for a new 24-month Fetch TV plan with us.

Click here to sign up for a Fetch TV package if you’re an existing customer — or if you’re not an Internode customer, click here and when you get to the signup tool, enter the promo code ‘Syfy’.

This deal even includes a pair of power line adapters (PLAs) to connect your set top box to the internet!

If you’re not an Internode customer yet, we highly recommend it — with quota-free servers to play on, quota-free Steam downloads and special lightning-fast access to Australia’s new Diablo 3 servers (and more!) we’re the number one ISP for gamers.

  • This offer is available between 1/05/2014 and 31/05/2014.

i laughed so hard out load when i got an actual snail mail letter advertising that i can get this fetch TV thing.

technically i can, but if they looked at my long list of complaint tickets from massive exchange congestion they woulda noticed it was a waste of time sending the fetch tv junk mail to me

(i sync at near 21megabits tho from 5pm throo to aboot midnight im lucky to get 200kB/s)

but thts just me, mebbe somone else can have more luck good on them for trying

I got a snailmail about it too. While I have a such a severe fault on my line I couldn’t use FetchTV anyway. :D

Not Internode’s fault of course, just found it funny.

Has anyone actually tried FetchTV?

I wish i could be cool enough to pay for free TV.

My fetch brochure is peeping out of my recycling bin too. Please PM me internode if you would like to help out this 8+ year customer with my 147kbs download speeds.

Internode do some great things but that fetch brochure was pure fail, no mention of movie prices just happy faces prancing about. Sure I could google to get that info but next time just send me an email with a link to their pricing. Definitely the worst promotion I’ve seen from Internode. ROARRRR!

unitzero,

Have you tried ringing them about it? It’s under the speed they are required to supply and will have to follow it up (I think it’s something like 1.5mbs).

How come I can’t seem to find any info about this offer except here?

If it is real then and you are already a Fetch customer can you still get this deal if we agree to sign for another 24 months?

Great question! It’s a new games.on.net exclusive offer :)

Yes the offer is real!

Existing customers who are not currently on a contract with Internode can take advantage‎ of this offer! Saying that, Heidi has said hello! If you would like to chat further send Heidi a whim on Whirlpool :)

It would be interesting to try out FULL FetchTV for free for a month to 3 months if I didnt have to buy a set top box

I can already view free2air with ads on my PC monitor using a 20 buck set top box and hdmi lead and lead to the roof aerial

With Tasmania’s Internet speed and line congestion HA don;t make me laugh!

Was meant to get fiber in January Thank you ABBOTT YOU %$^&%^$ &*$^*$*

God Dammit!

My internet is also so horrible the concept of selling me TV over the internet is insulting.

matty,

Not for a while. I’d given up to be honest after several tries in the past. Didn’t know about the required minimum (odd they didn’t mention it either) but that gives me some ammunition to use. Thanks!

Would consider it if fetch tv lost the box. It’s iptv ffs.

This ^

I’ll sub when node provides me with something faster than 1500/256 (calling it that is generous considering the disconnects 40x a day). They wasted some paper sending me that brochure.

If I managed to get connected to Internode within the couple of weeks I was told, rather than over an month (including connecting my previous address back up, TWICE) I might consider it.

Games.on.net is rad though!

The box is fine for the geek-impaired families, but for the rest of us lose the box and give us a plugin for the more popular media centers (MythTV, Mediaportal, XBMC etc) so we can run it straight off our HTPC’s. Having to have 2 boxes just to do pretty much the same thing is a problem.

Ill stick to my $5 per month Netflix.
Ripoff free to air that isnt free on the net? lol
