Wolfenstein: The New Order trailer shows off some football and a crazy ref

Wolfenstein: The New Order is starting to get a little funky. Everything that’s been shown off in the recent gameplay videos and trailers has been fairly run-of-the-mill. It still looks fun, but not surprising in any way.

Then I saw this latest video from Bethesda, which involves a football ref losing his cool and just shooting one of the players in the head – because apparently that’s how Nazi’s run a soccer pitch. Check it out.

Yes, there is actual The New Order gameplay in there and it’s pretty gritty. There’s some severed limbs, a lot of blood and a bit too much injecting for a Wednesday. That’s more of a Friday thing really. But I can’t get over the soccer ref.

It’s a good way to get rid of diving, when you think about it.

Sure hope this is as good as it looks/early play reviews are suggesting it could be.

Mandatory executions should be limited to diving offenses, IMO.

Silly ref, should have shot the guy taking a dive.

Also – Looks awesome. Pumped for this one.
