Titanfall patch reportedly causing slow loading times on PC

The big ol’ second patch for Titanfallget the details here — appears to have also come with its fair share of problems. Chief among them is that some users are now reporting increased loading times when jumping into matches, often arriving on the ground and missing the drop sequence entirely.

I’ve experienced the issue multiple times myself, and a Reddit thread has sprung up here to catalogue people’s various load issues. There’s also other complaints as well, with reports of sudden lag and jitter.

Are you affected as well? Let us know below — and make sure to check out Junglist’s Titanfall tips from today as well.

I haven’t experienced the slow loading times myself but I did find plenty of cases where the countdown would expire with 7/8 players or less.

Mind you, I’m running on Windows 8.1 and the game is on a WD Black HDD.

Of course it is.

Consoles 1st. PCs second. Nothing new.

They probably took a page from EA’s play book and copied the load level code from BF4.
