Company of Heroes 2: The Western Front Armies announced

Company of Heroes 2: The Western Front Armies

SEGA and Relic have announced that a new, standalone multiplayer installment in the Company of Heroes 2 franchise will arrive in June.

Titled The Western Front Armies, this multiplayer-only package will be priced at $19.99 and includes the US Forces and the German Oberkommando West, as well as eight maps.

I’m not 100% clear on how it works, but the press release goes on to imply that the standalone will have cross-matchmaking with the original Company of Heroes 2 in both directions, regardless of what players own. Which is pretty neat!

A Steam store page has been set up for this new expansion-ey-thingy, which you can see here.

Not unhappy about this. Sure they could have explored other nations of WW2, but USA and west Germany army will be amazing in CoH2 engine.
