South Park: The Stick of Truth uncensored by users in unofficial PC patch

South Park: The Stick of Truth

By on March 11, 2014 at 8:48 am

Much like Left 4 Dead 2, Australian PC gamers have quickly and effortlessly found a way around the Classification Board’s restrictions on South Park: The Stick of Truth.

A user-made patch, available to download here, removes all of the censorship and allows players to experience the full… er, majesty, of uncensored anal probing scenes and other things that were deemed not to fit within an R18+ classification.

I haven’t tried it personally, but if the 50+ comments are anything to go by, it apparently works perfectly and is being very well received.

Why not read our Stick of Truth review here?

Cool, will make the German gamers happy too about the swastika/nazi censored stuff.

Has some of the nazi stuff been censored here too? I noticed the zombies mouth words like they are chanting nazi slogans but there is no sound file for them.

Can anyone confirm whether the digital steam code from Amazon works as uncensored?

Won’t activate at all on AU steam it seems http://games.on.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=200632

I’m all for circumventing the Aus tax and price gouging, but by all accounts it’s a pretty good game and has been released in a finished state. I personally don’t think the US$55 price tag is unreasonable and I’m happy to support publisher who do the right things.

Ah nice one, was hoping this would be made. I just played through the UFO level on the weekend, had a giggle at the censored crying koala pics but it was fairly annoying after the fourth time of being interrupted. Will play through it again with this patch tonight, cheers for the link.

Awesome.. started playing this morning and while the combat seems overly simplistic, listening to Cartman is hilarious.

Very happy to have access to the material that our laws seem to think I can’t handle. I’ll try my darndest not to become a murderer or pervert as a result.

In a bizarre twist of fate apparently the game is CHEAPER here than in the US. According to SteamPrices it’s $55 here and $60 in the US.

Yes, normally they mouth phrases hacked together from recorded Hitler speeches.

The Nazi Zombie Foetuses are fully voiced however.

It seems to consist, mostly, of copying over the missing uncensored files. Thanks devs!

I downloaded it in case I might want it. As soon as I got to the first scene I alt+F4ed outta there, applied the patch and haven’t looked back. Works like a charm.

So silly this needs to still happen even with an R18+ rating.

It will, you just need a program/connection to the US to activate it. Once done, you can play as normal. Had a few mates do this.

I do not recommend doing this in anyway/shape/form. You do it at your own risk.

So I can make a purchase here, activate it ok then apply this patch?
