Q-Games appears to be abandoning more than just the PlayStation with its latest game. Despite being a mish-mash of influences from the PixelJunk series to date, the latest entry has dropped its previous title – PixelJunk Inc – for the slightly less dignified Nom Nom Galaxy.

The title reflects the game’s premise; the 2D sandbox has players creating an interstellar soup empire.

In the lengthy and very Japanese trailer below, the developer, uh, invites players to come get wet and messy with it on Steam Early Access come March 13 (more likely March 14 for we Australians).
