The Crusader class is almost in your hot little hands, with Diablo 3‘s Reaper of Souls expansion set to bust down your doors on the 25th of March.

If you’re one of those people who, like me, actually wonder about the story behind a game where a swarm of biting mosquitoes can somehow drop a full set of plate armour when killed, you too may enjoy the below video in which the Crusader’s backstory is explained.

Want to see the Crusader in action? Lucky you! We recorded our hands-on time with him/her in the Reaper of Souls beta. Spoiler: it’s pretty fun.

owait. it’s still not diablo 2:lod

I’m actually quite looking forward to RoS.

irritus, I’m still bitter. Hopefully it’s really good. But there would need to be a return to the gothic/horror feel of d2, rather than the overly stylized, cartoony feel d3 has.

For those still enjoying the game or going to get RoS, do join the GamesOnNet community (see the Diablo 3 forum).

Can’t wait to start a new Crusader! Got a lovely Hellfire ring that gives my level 1 characters an insane amount of life and life regen:

If you’ve played the beta, ROS is dark and evil
