Bohemia Interactive have finally finished The East Wind campaign for Arma 3 fans will be pleased to know, with the release of the third and final campaign DLC – Win. This completes the story of soldier Ben Kerry, fighting against overwhelming odds in the Mediterranean.

Along with the campaign, Win introduces two new aircraft – the A-164 and To-199 Neophron, a new jet – the A-164 CAS and a new vehicle – the Tempest transport truck, capable of carrying medical, repair and ammo supplies around with you. Two new points of interest have also been added to Altis – the athletics stadium and the ‘ghost hotel compound’. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

If you have Automatic Updates turned off on Steam you can grab Win now – otherwise it will already be updated to your copy of Arma 3. Embedded below is the fancy new trailer Bohemia Interactive put together for Win – check it out, it’s pretty awesome.

Graphics look nice, but the voice acting is awful as usual hehe, may get ARMA 3 eventually,… when I’m bored and it’s cheap.

Can we get a review of the win dlc?

Is it still called DLC when it’s just the part of the game that they never finished before release?

Coming next year from Bohemia Interactive: Arma 4, start menu DLC

DLC means downloadable content and you download it so yes.

I wish the term DLC was never a thing. The days of expansions etc were good days. Things like diablo 2 expansions where there was a lot of content and it was obviously worth it. Instead of the crap we get now :(

Yea it sucks, i would much rather buy an “expanion” for Bioshick Infinite that is the whole buried under sea thing than $20 bucks for a few hours of game cause its “DLC”

also expansions were good to fix game problems, like how the old RTS expansions had improved mechanics, like farm queing in Age of Empires 2.

Well… yeah, but DLC traditionally is “something extra” (usually that you pay for).

Calling a late content patch DLC is like calling a program an “App” just because.
