Batman: Arkham Origins Mr. Freeze DLC announced

Batman: Arkham Origins

By on February 27, 2014 at 2:23 pm

Yes, the very unsubtle tease earlier in the year has mysteriously come true, with Warner Bros. officially announcing Mr. Freeze-themed DLC for Batman: Arkham Origins.

The DLC is titled Cold, Cold Heart and will cost you $9.99 (unless you have the season pass, of course). Unfortunately for anybody currently unable to finish Arkham Origins because of a bug or two, Warner Bros. will not be fixing any bugs until they’re finished working on DLC.

Cold, Cold Heart launches on April 22.

Think i’ll skip this unless it turns out the be totally rad and well received

It’s disappointing to read that instead of fixing the core game straight off the bat (no pun intended), WB are concentrating on pumping out the DLC. Or maybe it’s just their business model – ie. release content that requires people to spend more money and only then fix any underlying problems once the money’s in the bank. Looks like this game will wait until the GOTY edition is on sale on Steam.

Thats pretty… Cold Hearted… of them. I wonder if this DLC will get a… Frosty… reception because of it.

Yes, a bug fix…freeze…made some fans feel….blue

You’re both fired.

Chill out Tim, it’s ice to see some good puns here.

I’ve enjoyed the Arkham series immensely (no bugs with Origins either luckily) so I’ll probably pick this up.

Are you sure you didn’t mean they are both “Frozen”?

Apparently if you want support you get a cold shoulder. You must first prove you own the game. You do not get support until hell freezes over.

Please send in a picture of the receipt and a picture of the game in case so we can process your ticket.

Thank you,

This is a pretty… icy … conversation

The silly iceholes deserve everything they get for treating customers so cold. Hopefully they’ll thaw eventually. Although could have been worse, imagine if DICE had developed it. They would have used the Frostbite engine.

Wow Tim, I know revenge is a dish best served cold but what you just did sends a chill through my bones.

Lol, this thread digressed quickly into Joel Schumacher territory

It certainly has snowballed alright.

I believe the DLC won’t be released on…Steam. Though Blizzard may be interested.

I a-polar-gise. That was the best I could come up with.

ralphwiggum,

That’s sad, you must be suffering from brain freeze, maybe next time you’ll come up with some really punny stuff to break the ice with?

Happy I bought the Season Pass cheap at Christmas. Never did get the Harley Quinn DLC for City.

Love the puns.
