lol Midnight Club: Los Angeles.

…And how is it higher than dishonored?!

I remember seeing the weekly sales figures once upon a time and the top ten were filled with The Sims and World of Warcraft. Times have changed…

Because people are morons.

Hah, I haven’t played any of the games in the top 10. Though I am planning on getting AC IV when I get a PS4.

Given digital distribution, it would be interesting to find out how they actually got those figures.

Who the hell didn’t already have Skyrim.
That has been in top lists since release.

It took a long time for it to drop below $20 in price though.

Surprised BF3 is so high when BF4 was imminent, same with AC3.

NPD’s data tracks physical sales at traditional bricks and mortar retail, not digital sales.

Completely useless data for anyone, other than B&M stores that would be interested in the data. Maybe they should track how many people still buy in B&M stores, compare it to digital sales…

submariner,

Yep, brick and mortar stores mean this is skewed towards console sales. I’m too lazy to search but at what place is the first PC exclusive title?

I bought it again last year when the legendary pack was cheaper than buying all the DLC.

It’s interesting that Tomb Raider is number 10 when they were apparently so disappointed with sales. Were they expecting to beat CoD and GTA?

Lord_PorkSword

It’s a real shame to see Aliens: Colonial Marines on that list.
All hail the mighty power of marketing and trickery!

ralphwiggum,

Not clued in on all the games listed there, but it’s most likely The Sims 3 at 29.

what the actual fuark is skylanders swap force and giants?

v4moose,

Yet more sequels in the “buy plastic junk to play the game” series.

The Sims 3 isn’t PC exclusive, the first one would be Starcraft 2: HotS at #50, followed by Sim City at #56.

For the people asking why such and such isnt ranked higher, think about it for a second.

Is this game available on PC?, Is it easily piratable, Is it actually good and not your autistic fanboying clouding your judgement?

Because it went on sale multiple times for less than $10

How is ANYTHING higher than dishonored … every one needs to own at-least a million copies of it it’s easily the best game released in the last … since half life 2.

So an expansion pack and a massively buggy sim game (which has divided the PC community) are the highest ranked PC exclusive games? Oh dear…

Not that crazy though I don’t think, in my small anecdotal sample size, even non tech savvy pc gamers I know use steam/origin direct, seemingly only going into shops for PC only games if we want a CE or whatever

NoobyMcNoobnoob

TLOU did alright considering it only on one platform, just imagine how much more gta5 would of got if on pc same time
