Telltale Games would love to work on a James Bond game

Telltale Games are enjoying a fair bit of success at the moment, kicking off a second season of The Walking Dead as well as new games set in the Borderlands and Game of Thrones universes. But if money was no object, Telltale’s CTO and co-founder Kevin Bruner says that James Bond would be the way to go.

“I’m a giant James Bond fan and I’m always frustrated by games that make him a mass murderer,” he said to OXM.

“He’s a super-spy, and that’s a different skillset. The films make him less of a mass murderer, and there’s not much killing in the books – more spying and intrigue.”

Bruner also observed that the idea of creating their own IP rather than working with licenses was one that got “more and more attractive” as they grew in size.

Nasty Wet Smear

*Super heavy Scottish accent* I’m a British Secret Agent… Now I’m an Egyptian sword master who is mistaken for Spanish… Now I’m a Russian Sub Commander on the back end of the cold war!

I’d prefer a new Sam & Max game first. :<

It would be interesting to see what they would do with this if they ever got the chance. They couldn’t do any worse than most of the other people who attempted James Bond licensed games could they?

nastywetsmear,

THE GUN IS GOOD.
