Final Fantasy Tactics designer takes to Kickstarter with new tactical RPG

Unsung Story

Yasumi Matsuno, the man behind Final Fantasy Tactics, would like $600,000 of your dollars to put towards a new tactical RPG on Kickstarter.

Going by the name of Unsung Story, the game is described as “the spiritual successor in a storied line of epic tactical RPGs” by Matsuno, which presumably means “if you like his previous games, you’ll like this one as well”.

They’ve already raised over $200,000, so the goal of $600 is looking pretty achievable. Take a look at the pitch video below and let us know what you think.

Hmmm I’m not convinced. Looking at the body of work produced by Playdek doesn’t fill me with confidence. Would love to be wrong though.
