Oh geez, you guys, you know what? I spoke to soon on that Saints Row IV thing. Maybe you don’t actually need to play that all day. Maybe you should actually play Company of Heroes 2 until you’re dreaming in a stereotypical Russian accent and can no longer feel this (ridiculous) heat wave.

Because, I’m afraid, Relic’s latest strategy effort is also free to play on Steam until the wee hours of Monday morning. What. I mean. How am I supposed to. When. Choosing is hard.

I tell you what though if you like Company of Heroes 2 during your trial and do choose to take up the 66% off offer, you’re paying for some pretty decent post-launch support; as well as regular premium DLC packs, Sega and Relic have been very good about dropping bits of free content here and there, and issuing regular content.

And even at that price I still wouldn’t play it again.

Meh ain’t bad. Just a bit too DLC focused. Campaign was alright multiplayer is better IMO and of you have friends with the game playing the mini theatre of war missions together can lead to some funny incidents you just don’t get playing by yourself or even against others
And there’s a boatload of content. Some free most of it you have to buy.

But due to mods CoH 1 is just better.
