The second instalment of ArmA 3‘s single-player campaign, ‘Adapt’, has now been released. Once you update your Steam copy, you’ll have access to Ben Kerry, “a soldier trapped on the island of Altis following a Mediterranean flashpoint.”

Bohemia say that episode two “opens up the military sandbox further, challenging players to adopt guerrilla tactics in the face of against a stronger, better-equipped enemy”. Take a look in the newly released trailer below — the final episode is expected in March.

YYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

So still no co-op?

yurtles,

There’s going to be co-op?

Also anyone that’s played the campaign, are there any fixed-wing missions? There were always a few rotary missions in ArmA 1 and OA (ArmA 2 not really), but fixed-wing has always been severely lacking outside of the armoury or player-made content.

rapid101,

Never heard any mention of co-op, just assumed there would be because all the other ones had it and got disappointed when there wasn’t.

No there isn’t going to be co-op.

boring… they could spend the time adding content like all arma content for mission makers as whats on offer is SHIT

I’m quite enjoying the new campaign, plays like an updated resistance for me. Damn that was a fine expansion back in the day.

rapid101,

nah i finished the second part last night and at no point was i able to fly anything at all. Really enjoying the campaign so far though.

now my new pc is ordered, i shall finally get this! heard the campaign is by far the best in the series. From what i seen it looks pretty cool, need something like operation flashpoints campaign. That was awsome. Seems this campaign has a few elements the OFP one had :D
